To Whom it May be of Interest,

I have kept quiet for many months...taken the high road, maintained professionalism.

At this time I need to speak up!

There is another local dog business person who has taken some issue with me, won’t tell me what and won’t give me the opportunity to speak to any concerns, but instead has talked me down to clients and industry peers, spreading falsehoods about me. I have learned that I am one of many to whom this has happened, unfortunately. This person has even left me aggressive voice mails, and sent threatening and abusive emails to me. Despite this, I remained kind and did not reciprocate.

Once... I posted a small rant on my own personal fb page, no names mentioned, and some troll reported it back to the person, from whom I then I got another email threatening me with a lawyer. For???

The person has gone on to post on the socials about how toxic the industry is, outlying all the horrible behaviours being practiced, yet this person is actually the main perpetrator. It’s 100 % the pot calling the kettle black.

Finally the common theme over all of this persons posts was how the industry is unregulated, to be careful, and to only hire formally educated trainers.

This person has publicly discredited and criticized my professional credentials, and other previously endorsed CPDT accredited trainers also.

WAY Back in my early days, the early 2000’s there were no reputable formal training institutions, or I surely would have attended school. Now there are a few.

My knowledge has been measured, and credentials maintained for over a decade, by fulfilling required continuing education. My client base good, I have solid happy clients.

I have 16 years of hands on science based training. I have taught hundred of classes and helped thousands of clients with their family dogs. I don’t have a very pretty face, or a fancy website, graphics and pod casts, I am just a hard working woman who runs her own small local business.

Why am I speaking to this now?

This person, a non trainer, with no formal education is NOW advertizing training services and classes, staring at $90 per hour.

After all the talk of only hiring formally educated trainers??? Being barely newly registered at a school doesn’t not make certified anything.

Clients wonder why those of us professionals charge so much?

Now I need to raise my rates higher to reflect the quality service I am providing.

I have not named names and I will not. I’ll am actually pretty certain many of you know who this is, as this poor reputation is growing in leaps and bounds within the industry.

So, I ask you kindly, if you ever have questions or concerns about my professional credentials, my education or work, please speak with me, give me the opportunity to speak to it.

After this, I expect a letter from the persons lawyer very soon, yet I am the one with cause and proof that this person has discredited and criticized my professional credentials as well as other previously endorsed CPDT accredited trainers. I am one of multiple trainers who has been subjected to this wrath.

It is embarrassing.
